Miller Children�s and Women�s Hospital in sunny Long Beach, California, is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join their prestigious Regional Level IV NICU team, offering advanced neonatal care in a collaborative and supportive environment affiliated with the University of California Irvine and Children�s Hospital of Orange County.


Job Description:
As a Neonatologist at Miller Children�s and Women�s Hospital NICU, you will:

  • Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 patients and ~1,400 admissions annually
  • Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, Obstetric Hospitalists, and a wide array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists including a renowned pediatric cardiovascular program
  • Participate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy, palliative care, telemedicine, and a specialized Small Baby Unit\
  • Engage actively in the NICU�s continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Contribute to and benefit from an academic environment with integrated residency and fellowship programs linked to University of California Irvine and Children�s Hospital of Orange County

  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.  Relocation may be required.
