Perm - Physician - Anesthesiology Jackson, MI

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join our growing ICU and surgical team at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, a Level 2 Trauma Center located in Jackson, Michigan�where high acuity care meets exceptional teamwork and career advancement.

Job Description:

• Provide 8�12 weeks per year of service in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), including home call coverage
• Oversee a growing team of APPs managing complex post-operative patients such as those recovering from cardiac surgery, major vascular procedures, and TAVR
• Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks, including General operating room coverage, Obstetric anesthesia, Healthy pediatric cases.
• Share OR call duties proportionally based on ICU coverage
• Work with an experienced, multidisciplinary team in a Level 2 Trauma Center setting
• Participate in clinical decision-making, protocol development, and care coordination
• Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and APPs
• Utilize Epic EMR for seamless and integrated patient documentation
• Join a collaborative and innovative department focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement
• Must be available to start ASAP
• Not open to Locum and/or Locum to Perm candidates
• Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again
• Not open to providers who want to commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)
