Pediatrix� Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida.

Job Description:

  • State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
  • The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
  • Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
  • Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
  • All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
  • In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
  • Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
  • Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

  • Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
  • Not accepting new graduate candidates - 2+ years' experience as NNP required
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • NNPs do 12 hour shifts, there is an option for 24 hours based on experience level
  • NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 a year)
  • Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates
  • This is a permanent position and we are not seeking a commuter or someone who wants block schedules
  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. ?Relocation may be required.
