Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is looking for an experienced Thoracic OR Physician Assistant to join their team!

Job Description:

• Practice Setting: Operating room, clinic
• Rate Type Options: Daily
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour days
• No Call
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: Varies
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level/Designation: 2
• APP Working Autonomously: Yes
• Training or Experience Required: Thoracic PA experience in the operating room and pre-op testing (no new grads)
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult

*Looking for a PAwho is very experienced with robotic lung resections and foregut surgery. moreexperienced in bedside assisting, docking the robot etc. * 

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days-120 days

Note from the client since we have had little luck on this need: Forcardiac OR...robotic experience is a bonus, but not a must. If we can find acardiac PA with extensive experience as first assist, we might be able toutilize that PA and offset and use one of our current PAs for thoracic.
