Dayton Children's is looking for an Emergency Medicine(Pediatrics) for a Locum Role starting in August! Both Main and South Campus need weekend coverage.

Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: Yes, APP and Residents

Documentation System/EMR: EPICDoes ED Staff Respond to House Codes: No

Who Writes Admission Orders? If ED Physician, Indicate Process for Transition to Accepting Physicians:  ED Physicians/ED Residents. Writes admission orders only. ARD - Admission Residents on Duty - Writes all care order

Do Hospital Bylaws Require a Specific Response Time for On Call Physicians (List Time): 60 mins

Ambulance Response Time & Travel Referral Facility:  CH has NICU + ACLS + Transport team. DCH transport covers 27 counties in Ohio. Local EMS will transport patients from scene.

Air Ambulance Response Time & Travel Time to Referral Center:

DCH does not have air ambulance. Miami Valley Hospital will transport patients to DCH based on trauma acuity.
