Locum - Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive Coos Bay, OR

Job Description:

• Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period)  3 month commitment with the possibly of extension 
• 8:00 am-5:00 pm clinic hours - 8 hours daily 
• Outpatient Clinic-15-18 patients per day
• 4 physicians on staff
• The Non-Invasive Cardiologist is a licensed independent practitioner who manages cardiology patients 
• EPIC EMR
• Specific/must do procedures? 
• Echo and non-nuclear stress test reads
• EKG and holter monitor reads
• Preferred:
• Trans-esophageal echocardiography
• Performing cardioversions
• 80% outpatient; 20% inpatient (call only)

Call 1-2 nights weekly from 1700-0800

Call one weekend per month (with interventional backup) starting on Friday at 1700 and ending Monday at 0800What can the provider expect in terms of support staff? 

An assigned MA to assist with managing patients 

Triage RN team 

Device clinic and dedicated device clinic staff

Site requires 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training

Orientation is 1/2 the hourly rate
OT and holidays are paid at 1.25x
Med Mal must be included in rates
OT is after 40 hours
Client is looking for Daily rates (8hours) between $3400-$3800
